Our Mission
To offer Chassidus, the deeper dimensions of Torah, its vitality and holiness to all Jewish women and Jewish families, which helps women connect and reveal the deepest part of their soul to G-d, and to others. Our classes and events are opportunities to bring women guidance, coaching, and inspiration to apply these ideals into every aspect of their lives in a joyous way, to help nurture relationships with their family and community. We teach women how to live in a state of true internal awareness, acceptance, confidence and joy. Every person in the world can gain from our teachings. We are continually creating events and information that is available in numerous venues and communities.

The Need is Great
Who will nurture, inspire and guide the women?
Through classes in Torah, prayer, parenting, marriage, and referals, the needs of Jewish women are addressed. At Bais Chana women learn the skills they need to perform their important role in the family and the community, and have a support group of other women who share their challenges, as well as access to experienced teachers and mentors who can effectively and compassionately guide them.
The secret of Bais Chana is that by learning Torah with the teachings of Chassidic philosophy Judaism feels alive, exciting, relevant, and enjoyable. After being inspired by the classes they attend, Bais Chana students then communicate these positive attitudes to their husbands, children, and family members. When others see the joy and excitement with which their mother, wife, or sister serves Hashem and feel the warmth she infuses into her mitzvahs, it serves to inspire all of them and create a positive Jewish atmosphere in the home that leads all members of the family to value and cherish their Yiddishkeit.
Today Bais Chana presents programs to hundreds of Jewish women in Los Angeles each year which are taught by leading educators.

Our Vision
Bais Chana’s core mission is to fulfill the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s call to action to get the world ready for a new era and to do so by focusing on the women. The woman is called the akeres habayis, the mainstay of the home, and is the source of nurture, inspiration, and guidance (both physical and spiritual) for all members of the family. As such, her role in ensuring Jewish continuity and building a world in which G-d will be revealed to all mankind is a central one.
"I have been taking 'Bais Chana classes for a year, and everything in my life has changed. I used to be all over the place in the corporate world and now I put my focus and priorities on my family. I am learning how to live a Jewish life. I light Shabbos candles and make Shabbat dinners among other things. I realize that my family is really what is most important in life. I feel like I came home."
